Last Christmas (A Doctor Who Song)

about

I wrote this song after watching (and crying over) the Doctor Who Chrismas special. I wrote it to the melody of Last Christmas because that's the title of the Chistmas episode and because I'm a very original person.
I have a limited amount of free downloads, so if you could, I would appreciate it if you could pay like one cent for it, so that people who aren't able to pay get to have this track fo free :)

lyrics

Last Christmas
You sent me away
and the very next day you regenerated
This year
you saved me from tears
I’ll grab that second chance and your hand and get away from here

First I thought you would die
I thought I’d lose you
Without even a hint at goodbye
tell me, chin boy
did you think I wouldn’t recognize you
I know those big sad eyes
it shouldn’t surprise you

your new face looked up at me and asked me to fly this thing
I said “Please don’t change” I hope I was lying
Now I know what a fool I've been.
If I could take away the doubt I had
I’d do it again and again

[Chorus 2x]

Oh, oh, Doctor

fast forward to
you and I
sitting on my bed
you don’t see my old eyes
My stars I thought you were nothing but a dream
But then, I woke up and you were next to me

I’m so glad I’m young again, ready to go
I’m glad you never saw the difference, whether I was young or old
Now that I finally got you back, I’ll never lose you again

[Chorus 2x]
